NEMKO is the Norwegian Electrotechnical Testing Institute — a neutral third party with no stake in the result. We handed them two erased drives and asked a single question: can anything be recovered?
They ran a full forensic evaluation: partition checks, bit-level searches for the original content and its patterns, and an analysis of how the disks had been overwritten.
The conclusion was unambiguous. NEMKO SySi concludes that the use of Secloud Elimino does not entail any security risk. Both drives were securely erased, with no traces of the original content remaining.
